Setting-up

Fountains
What do I need to make my fountain run?

You need three things: The fountain sculpture, the receptacle to hold water and a submersible, recirculating pump.

What size pump do I need?

The required pump will be determined by several factors. The size of the fountain, size of the internal copper tubing, distance from pump to discharge point and the amount of water that needs to be discharged. Because of all these factors, it is very difficult to recommend a pump with out knowing the specifics. Contact your nearest dealer for more information.

Can I run 2 with 1 pump?

Some of our smaller fountains, that do not require a large amount of water discharge, can be run with only 1 pump. Contact your nearest dealer for more information.

How do I secure them?

Securing our fountains will depend on their application. Some fountains you will be able to bolt in place, while others will need to be cemented in place. Please note that none of our pieces come with drill-holes or mounting bolts.

Ponds

How do I make sure that my pond does not leak?

Place the pond outside on a flat, dry surface. Fill the pond with water and allow it to sit for a few hours to be certain that there are no leaks. If your pond is leaking, please contact the retailer that you purchased the pond from.

How do I set up my ponds for a waterfall effect?

Our lightweight ponds can be stacked as high as you wish to create a waterfall effect. Water can flow from a large pond to a large pond; from a small pond to a small pond and from a small pond to a large pond. The first pond should be laid flat on the ground. The upper pond will need a 12" back support and should overlap the bottom pond sufficiently to allow adequate clearance for the cascade to clear the inside edge of the lower pond. Any additional ponds that you add to your waterfall will need supports in 12" increments. (Also shims may be required to stabilize/level pond).
